Jeff Miller, President and CEO is one of
the original Micron Optics team members, joining as the Vice
President of Engineering and Production in December 1990. He became Vice President
of Process Development and New Product Introduction in October 2000 and President
and CEO in June 2002. Prior to Micron Optics, Mr. Miller worked at Fitel General
and AT&T Bell Labs. Mr. Miller has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson
University. He holds 14 patents and has 16 technical papers published.
Andrei Csipkes, Executive Vice President and COO
has been chief officer at Micron Optics since
October 2000. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Csipkes served at Ciena Corporation as Director
of Manufacturing Technologies and later as Vice President, Operations Engineering.
Mr. Csipkes started his career in 1991 at AT&T Bell Laboratories where he worked
as Development Engineer (MTS) and later as Group Leader. Mr. Csipkes holds a BS
and M.S. in Electrical Engineering as well as a M.S. in Management Science from
the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Csipkes has been awarded 36 patents and
another 12 are in progress. Kevin Hsu, Vice President
of Research and Technology served as Micron Optics' Vice
President of R&T since January 1999. Before that he served as Micron Optics' Director
of Research and Development since February 1992. Prior to his time at Micron Optics,
Dr. Hsu worked at the Eastman Kodak Research Laboratories. Dr. Hsu received a
BS and MS in Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in from the Georgia Institute of
Technology. He has generated 66 technical publications and has been awarded 15
patents. Ann Vining, Vice President of Administration
has served as Vice President of Administration
since January 1998. While Ms. Vining has worked at Micron Optics since its inception,
she joined the company full time in January 1991 as Vice President. Prior to Micron
Optics, she worked with The Championship Group as an administrator. Ms. Vining
started her career at O.D. Resources working with Darryl Conner in organizational
development. She attended Georgia State University.
Tom
Graver, Director, Optical Sensing Group joined Micron Optics in January
2001 to grow Micron
Optics' optical sensing business. Prior to joining Micron Optics, Mr. Graver served
as Director of Operations and Senior Research Engineer for the Manufacturing Research
Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Graver holds degrees in mechanical
engineering, industrial engineering, and management.
Todd
Haber, Director of Product Development joined Micron Optics in 1998
as a Member of the Research
and Development staff. While at Micron Optics, Mr. Haber has also served as Lead
Test and Measurement Engineer, and Technical Manager of the Instrument Development
Group. Mr. Haber has a BSEE and an Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering
from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mr. Haber has published in peer reviewed
technical journals and holds multiple US patents. Clyde
Story, Director of Quality and Telecom Sales joined Micron Optics
in January 2004. Prior
to joining Micron Optics, Mr. Story had an extensive 21 year career with Western
Electric, AT&T, and Lucent technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer, Technical
Manager and Technical Sales Support Manager for the Fiber Optics, Cable and Apparatus
business units. Mr. Story has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia
Institute of Technology and a M.S. in Management of Technology from the National
Technological University (a joint venture with Lehigh University). Phillip
White, Director of Manufacturing joined Micron Optics in January 1995. Prior
to his current
role, Mr. White held responsibilities within Micron Optics for internal process
improvements, quality control, scheduling, planning for lean and flexible manufacturing,
team training, and the implementation of MRP. Before joining, Mr. White served
in the US Navy Submarine Force where he developed his logistical, quality, and
organizational skills.. |
